Phetteplace is my adopted last name. -- I am in search of my bio mother/father. I was born June 20th, 1968 in Albany NY. I have very little information about my adoption. I was born in Albany NY, at Albany medical center,on June 20th 1968. I was put right into foster care as far as I know. I have been told my bio. mother was 19 years old, a nursing student with dark hair. I believe she was sent away to have me as not to shame her family. When my adoptive parents took me home on November 15th, 1968 they were told that all my bio. parents asked is that I be raised protestant, (all that leads me to believe she was Catholic and didn't want me to be raised Catholic). I was adopted through the state, it was not a private adoption. I have been told I am Irish and French, (I have red hair). This is all I know, I wish I had more. I am registered with the state of NY for identifying information, but have never gotten anything. The non identifying information I did get was useless. All it basically said is that my bio. parents were young, (father was also 19 I believe), and that everyone was healthy. It did also say if I remember right that my bio. parents had been a couple for quite some time and had no plans on not staying together. | |||||||||||||||||||||
