I am searching for my birth mother. The info I was able to obtain through the department of dss. were 6 photos of her the most current being from 1995 woodland hills, california at the place were i was told she worked as a nurse or nursing assistant at a retirement center. The name writen on my original birth certificate from hendersonville, NC's hospital Mary Bel Mitchell maiden name campo Born february 23, 1965 I was told however her birth name from Honduras is Santos Claribel Ocampo. I was told she was miskitu indian who imigrated here from san pedro sula, honduras in 1987. I am not sure if she was legal of not but I know she was married to a harold eugene mitchell who was born in mount quebec nc in may 16 or 15, 1934 on the back of the last photo were she was in a nurses uniform she wrote her name as santos mary. I am told in the usa she went by the name mary or maribel. I was told that the last place they had recorded her living 6 or 8 years ago was long beach, california.
