Looking for information on the Dyer family that lived in either Howard or Hempstead county in the mid to late 1800's. It is a family rumor that this family could have native american roots(?) My great grandmother was Fannie Ann Dyer, she married George Tal Cox in 1886, in Nashville, AR. I have not been able to go any further back that her. Her mother was Martha (Mattie) A Dyer.
