I am leary of websites like these but I am a 44 year old male adoptee born Sep 14, 1968 in NY, Richmond County Hospital, Staten Island. My name given to me at birth was Richard, once adopteed changed to Jonathan, The adoption was handled through Louise Wise Agency....I have a bit of info My birth mom born 1952, Jewish in 10th grade. blue eyes un married, acting out,and on a pins petition by the court for running away and truancy, lived in boarding home, 1967 went home but ran away 3 months later, was an only child of my grandfather with 2 half siblings, 1 girl 2 boys (1 of the boys died young), My grandfather was a musician, My grandmother a dressmaker they divorced in 1957 she remarried and had my moms half siblings. My grandmother was un accepting of my mother My mother considered raising me but weighed options and just couldn't see how it was possible. My mom smoked pot and suspectedly used lsd during her pregnancy? No complications during birth born 9/14/68 at 10:09 pm by forceps delivery full term 7# 14oz 20 inches. apgar 9 and Hypospadias. I was placed in a foster care awaiting her decision at the time she began work as a clerk typist. On May 6, June 9 birth mother visited the foster home still torn as what to do.On June 19 my mom cried at signing the adoption release. Adopted on Aug 17, 1969 and on May 21, 1970 adoption finalized, In 1979 my birth mother went to adoption agency and said she wanted to be able to be located....never registered with NYS so here I am | |||||||||||||||||||||
