The waiting list for dealing with enquiries at HSE Cork regarding adoption files is just pitiful. This is not the fault of the HSE staff but what's going on might well result in legal action being taken either in Ireland or in Europe at some stage.They are completly overwhelmed with the extra files they have been given recently.This is now a human rights issue.Best advise is to register with the Adoption Authority of Irelands database in Dublin and hope a match can be made.In Cork even finding out if my daughter has made an enquiry is not easy.
