Query Text: |
I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on June 5, 1981. To the best of my knowledge, I was placed with a foster family for a month or two prior to the finalization of my adoption. The adoption was handled by Colorado Christian Services and my adoptive parents, at the time at the time, lived in Arizona. I have been led to understand that mine was a closed adoption and so there is no recourse for finding my biological parents. Hopefully this is not true, I would like to open a line of communication with either my biological mother or father (who, I believe were not married) to thank them for the decision they made, because I have an amazing family and have been blessed with some truly great opportunities I probably would not otherwise have had.I believe my biological parents were youngish at the time of my conception and birth and unmarried. They are described in documents as both having brown hair and brown eyes. I have blue/green/gray eyes and blond hair. They are also both listed as being quite tall - 5'11" for mom, 6'2" for dad. I take after them in this regard, am 6'. I was adopted by Sue Fisher (maiden name Niblett, and later to become Sue Uribe) and Charles Fisher (who later relinquished parental rights to allow me to be adopted by Armando Uribe) | |||||||||||||||||||||
