I have a cousin first named Billy Montgomery. He is my mother's nephew. His mother's name was Lucille. I believe that Lucille died when Billy was young. I was told that he was raised by his mother's sister, Gladys Davis Norris. Gladys and Lucille were my mother, Doris Flowers', half sisters. Their father's name was Alex Flowers. They were from Birmingham, Alabama. I was told that Billy, Gladys and Gladys' husband, Oscar "Buddy" Norris lived in Decater, Illinois. I was also told that Billy was in the Navy. My mother told me that Billy was older than she was. My mother was born in 1932. That's all I know. I have been working on my family tree, The Flowers Family of Alabama, since the early 90s.
