I am wanting to locate my ancestor's parents. My ancestor is : Thomas D. Rankin b. 1819 ? d. 1860 Ray Co., Mo m. 20 May 1855 Scott County, Indiana to Julia Ann McClung b. 3 Apr 1820 Ohio d. 11 Aug 1906 Ray County, Missouri NOTE: This is probably a 2nd marriage for both since a note found in a family bible shows the following children living with them. (these are going to be typed just as they are written on the note) Julia Ann Rankin b. April the 2 1820 Sareldia Jane MClung was born August 16 1848 Jacob Henry McLung was born April 8 1850 James Henry or Harry (not sure) Rankin was born Nov 4 1855 Lydia Allice Rankin was born February 19 (either 1851 or 1857 looks as tho if it were 1857 the 7 is backwards) George Wallis Rankin was born September 1 1858 Journ William Rankin was born November 10 1860 According to the 1880 Census in Ray Co., Mo that is John William not Journ William. If there is anyone who can help me make a connection or copy documents in Scott Co., In I would truley appreciate hearing from you.
