can anyone help with my tree .my grandfather was according to family born durban s.africa his name was wait for it: cecil charles arthur edward william francis born about 1874 he was also known as benjamin.his family owned a farm .they had servants, he was a good horseman.he left home because he found out that the woman he knew as mother was in fact his aunty and that it may have been that his mother died either whilst having him or later.apparently he left home about 10 yrs and became a drummer boy.later he left for england and we think to london where he continued a long regimental life.he had several children but we know nothing of his past in s africa.he has a brother or sister one in canada and one in australia.this is all we have .he was in the 3rd hussars.any help greatly appreciated.his war records have been lost in london. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
