My mother was born Obie Mae or Oba Mae Vanover in the early 1900's in Kentucky and adopted by the Salmon Family she is now deceased and I am looking for the Vanover Melungeon/Native American connection so that I can get some health issues resolved. I know that one of the family members was Nave and another one was Totten. My heart felt thank you goes out to anyone who can help me. Joan Sun
