Query Text:

Looking for birth mother and birth father-I was born in Louisiana. I was given up for adoption and born October 30, 1970 in New Orleans. My birth mother was 17 and Irish and French, and had straight brown hair and brown eyes and was 5'6" and fair complexion, and one year behind due to a change in schools. She had a sister that was 26 with one year of college and married with kids and her maternal grandfather died of leukemia and was Irish with a 10th grade education and was a building construction superintendent. Maternal grandmother was 64 and French with a 10th grade education and was a nurses aide with arthritis. My birth father was 5'8", French, 140 lbs. and had black hair, olive skin and brown eyes and was 19 and a high school graduate and enrolled in trade school for drafting and carpentry. He had four brothers and one sister. I was in foster care for about 2 months and was adopted by a family that had one son who was older and no other children. They lived in New Orleans and moved to Slidell La shortly after adoption. I also have dark brown hair and brown eyes, olive skin, wear glasses occasionly and am 42 as of 5/13 and am 5 ft 7 in. My foster parents named me Lynda while they had me and said I loved attention and was collicky. As of the adoption date the birth parents had no other children together and I was a single birth and I think I was about 6 or 7 pounds, give or take ounces. Born 3:53 pm, and the attendent on the altered org. birth certificate is H. C. Magee, M.D. and date signed is Nov. 10, 1970? and filed Nov 13...birth number on altered org. 1577014869 and on one from state I ordered birth number is 117-1070-014-00869. My adoption agency was the Childrens Bureau on 535 Gravier St and workers name was B. Kelly. Dr. Henry Simon ok me for adoption on 12-1-70. The birth adoption description of me says...This is a very dainty, petite and attractive infant. She has medium brown curly hair (and I still do!). Her eyes appear to be dark blue but they may turn brown. She has a medium to fair complextion. The family last name that adopted me was Wagner.
