SHELBY and CARLILE Families of Texas. I am searching for decendants and ancestor information for: Edwin Earl CARLILE 1888/1962 TX; AKA Ed Carlyle Married 1914 Texas *Jewell Bell SHELBY abt1900/aft1958 TX; AKA Judy CARLILE/CARLYLE *not sure on spelling of Jewell Bell, the name Bell, supposedly, is a name in her mother's family. ================================================== Locations: Our Carlile/Carlyles are found in the following Texas counties, dates are circa: Dallas 1940-current; Erath 1859; Galveston 1958; Guadalupe 1880; Hunt 1962; Harris 1950; McLennan 1920; as well as, Kentucky 1836, and possibly from Tennessee 1816. On their way, our line married into the Reynolds 1935 McLennan; Shelbys 1914 poss/McLennan; Nelsons 1887 Guadalupe; and McAdams 1859 Erath. ================================================== Our Shelbys were found in Bell 1900; possibly Erath 1873; Henderson 1910; McLennan 1930; Smith 1897; and possibly Tennessee mid 1800s.
