His wife's given name was Margaret.They immigrated to Wentworth County, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada before 1856. One of Jeremiah's daughters, Amelia, married Thomas Coughlin. Tom and Amelia were the parents of Father Charles Coughlin, the Radio Priest of the 1930's.
