Yes Hinkle's & Davis's & Prewitt's & Sumner's & Taylor's & Smith's & Steely's. Are all connected thur blood or marriages. They lived and buried {Piney Grove Baptist Church & Cemetery} in Whitley Co., Ky. Pvt. James Madison Hinkle born January 4, 1831, North Carolina, parents William Hinkle and Susannah Treadway {Never was married} and his 1st Delia Davis are my GGG Grandparents, Delia passed away in April 7, 1881, then September 8, 1884 James Married Mary "Polly" Taylor, they had no children together, Polly helped James raise his children. James & Delia's children: Mary Elizabeth, Peter{My GG Grandfather}, Elisha{Male}, Martha Ellen, Lewis, Susant, Twins,Thomas Andrew & Permelia, James Madison Jr.,Manda C., Fannie E.Hinkle. James served in the Civil War,{have War Records}. I have several pictures of Pvt.James Madison Hinkle Sr.'s Family Members headstone at the cemetery mentioned above. I would very much like to share what I have and need much information, enjoy sharing and exchanging Family History and Pictures, I have a picture of Pvt. James Madison Hinkle Sr. plus his Military Record {Civil War}. Also would like the location & address of The Piney Grove Baptist Church & Cemetery in Whitley Co., Ky. I have much information on Henckel/Hinkle's & Pictures. And yes all Hinkle's above are Descendants of the Rev. Anthonius Jacobus {Anthony Jacob Hinkle} Henckel, born October 27, 1668 in Mehrenberg, Germany, died August 12, 1728 in Germantown, Pennsylvania, married Maria Elizabeth Dentzer born May 1672 in Birkenau, Germany, died January 27 1744 in Germantown, Pennsylvania both are buried in St. Luthen Church Cemetery in Germantown, Pennsylvania, they had 12 children all born in Germany. Henckel/Hinkle Rev. Anthony Jacob Henckel emigrated to America on September 19, 1717, in Philadlphia {America}with his family and his 363 flock,all from Germany "Three Little Ships".
