My great-great grandfather, John Hinkle who was married to Elizabeth Arrowood Hinkle, came to America from Germany about 1800. He migrated to Washington County, TN, and later moved to Carter County, TN. Need help finding where he lived in Germany and the names of his parents. James A. Hinkle, son of John and Elizabeth, was married 3 times, first to Elizabeth Stover, the mother of my grandfather, Charles Marion Hinkle.
