I am searching for information on Mads Poulsen and Karen Danielsen. Their son, Christ, was born in the Thisted, Denmark area and he immigrated to the United States prior to WWI. He served in the U.S. Army during WWI and lived in Wisconsin and the Dakotas prior to marrying and moving to Anacortes, Washington. When he immigrated, he changed his name to Christ Nelson. Supposedly he may have been a member of the Danish Army prior to leaving Denmark.
