I am looking for a CAROLYN SLOAN MCDONALD. She was from Tennessee but I am not sure where. She had a daughter named RATCHEL SLOAN ASHLEY. I was told RATCHEL was illegitimate so I am not sure if the SLOAN name is a maiden name to each of them or a middle name but I am assuming it was maiden names since one married a MCDONALD and the other an ASHLEY. RATCHEL was born in 1878 or 1879 and died 10/31/1936 in Alabama. So I am once again assuming her mother was born around the 1850's. I do know that Ratchel had at least 3 children, Rosa Lee, Jesse and Robert. I was told she had a total of 8 but have not yet found them.
