looking for info on Dowling and Casey families lived in Kildare - Moone, Timolin, late 1800's - 1900's. Patrick and Bridget Powel of co Sligo moved to Wicklow / Kildare when they married 1872 and raised family -- he was supposedly a "railroad man" Children: Ellen, Maggie, Annie, Mary, Patrick all emigrated to US - don't know about Tom, John and Robert. Bridget left Ire in 1922. Patrick (sr) died in 1914, would love to locate his grave - prob Moone RC church? Mary CASEY married Richard DOWLING in US in 1913. Richard is son of Dennis and Mary (unk) DOWLING of Moone - he and his father were village blacksmith there. Denis was remarried to Theresa MURPHY (died in 1891) he may have remarried -- buried at RC church in Moone would love info on Dowling family prior to Denis. Family connections (cousins) could be to HORAN, BYRNES, BOLGER families.
