The adoption started with the Richmond County Department of Public Welfare and Attorney John Bennett was representing the Dellinger's who adopted Emily and Elaine just a few months after birth. The Dellinger's moved to Waycross, Georgia during the adoption process and it was completed by the Ware County Department of Public Welfare in Augusta, Georgia. Judge Cecil Roddenberry signed off on the adoption. The Dellinger's paid extra to have the twin girls to have access to the adoption records, however when they went to Ware County to access them they were denied access. The twin girls were born 4-16-1960. They were placed in the Dellinger's home on or about 6-22-1960. The Dellinger's moved to Waycross Georgia and Judge Cecil Roddenberry signed off on the adoption on 4-13-1962 making Emily and Elaine, Judi and Joni Dellinger. Looking for any birth relative. The twins have some minor health issues and have children and want to make sure it is not a family trait. The twins have green eyes. They started out with blonde hair and it turned auburn. The twins are both 5'6" tall.
