Query Text: |
Day: Ben Day, born in Cook County IL, I am guessing 1897. He was a machinist and married Cora Barritt in 1919. Cora died in birth of my mother. Barritt family adopted my mother, and encouraged Ben to go start a new life. Ben was in WWI, US Army. Originally told he returned to Chicago, 1930 Cencus shows man of similar name in Hazel Park Michigan. Bens father was Noie, and mother was Minnie McCallister, possibly immigrants from England. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
