I am looking for decendents of Eugene and Mary Fecht that came to Michigan around 1847 from Baden Germany. Their children were Ida, Ellen, Emela, Emma, Albert, Augusta, Eugen, Ottilie, and I believe 3 others. Eugene was a lawyer, vice president of the German Theatrical Society and lived on Congress street in Deroit. His son Albert was a buyer for Raugott and Schmidts and Sons, was a member of the Harmonie and Elks. Alberts children were Albert Jr, Edwin, Mrs. George Parry, and Mrs. Marie Bass. Eugene and mary's daughter, Ida married Fredrick Weilenbeck, they moved to Philadelphia and resided there until their death.(I am the great great grand daughter of Fred and Ida). Emma was a music teacher. This is all I know about the Fechts. I would like to connect with a cousin to share info and find out where the Fechts came from in Germany.
