I have a 1793 Bible with Bowman family in it. My GG Grandfather Peter Tubbs married a Susanna Bowman Apr 1829 in Brandford Brant. The Bible i have has Susanna born Mar 10 1806. There are about 15 Bowman names in the Bible. Peter was in the 1828 1829 Oxford Militia with Richard and Samuel his brothers. Richard married Mary Elizabeth Burgess in Canada also and i would figure about the same time. Samuel married a Ruth A., but dont have a last name. Figure the three brothers married around the same time and same place. Mary Burgess's father was Edward Burgess and they moved to the Toronto area in 1821 from NB.
