Robert E. Marlin born 1787 in that part of Cumberland County that became Perry County, is probably the son of one of the Marlins on the 1820 Census for Perry. Robert, Thomas, and Joseph between 26-45 and Jane who is over 45 is the only Marlin with a son between 16-26. Our branch of the family migrated to Oregon, Washington and California.
