Searching for the parents of Robert EYRE b: 30 Jan 1649, same day King Charles I was executed. Apprenticed w/William ROGERS, merchant of Bristol. Md: Ann SMITH, dtr of Francis & Anne (maiden name unknown) SMITH, gentleman of Devizes c 1682. Francis SMITH's children probably bapt: Chirton 1659-1672. 07 & 08 Sep 1681 Francis SMITH purchased 500 acres from William PENN. 1682 Robert EYRE settles in Bethel twp, Chester (now Delaware cnty), Pennsylvania to prepare Francis SMITH's land for him. Henry PEARCE b: c1671/73 Calne, Wilthsire to Anthony PEARCE, clothier & Katherine, maiden name unknown. Anthony PEARCE d: 1677 Calne. Widowned Katherine removes to Devizes where she bound son, Henry, to Francis SMITH, gentleman of Devizes 1685. Oct 1685 Henry PEARCE arrives in Pennsylvania aboard the Unicorne. Francis SMITH settles in Kennett (now Pennsbury) twp, Chester cnty, Pennsylania c1685. Henry PEARCE, now PEIRCE, md: Sarah SMITH, dtr of Francis SMITH c 1692.
