Hi< I am looking for info on Peter Erb who was born around 1848 (poss in PA). I know he was a civil war vet and I have seen a photo taken of him standing in front of his shoe & harrness shop. The photo has Landcastor Co., PA printed on it. I beleive he was married two times, #1 Eilzabeth (Heise?), #2 Julia (Fredrick?) March. I know he was raised by his grandfather (?) Ludwig till age 14 then lived with his uncle Will Ludwig in 1864 in Landcastor Co PA. He had two sons with his last wife (I think). One is named George Peter Erb and the other is Charlie (Garrett?) Erb. Is Philly in Landcastor CO. PA? PLEASE!!!! contact me if you have seen this info or if it looks like it may be in your line.
