Query Text:

Seeking information on any family with surname ABICHT or ABIGT. Prior to 1750, almost ALL of the Abicht families were still in the area that is now Thueringen. There were three major groups: near Artern, near Neustadt/Orla and near Koinigsee (south of Eisenach). I am writing a book on the families both in Germany and America. Also seeking information on the family Rodigast -- also from the same area. Thank you. Marilyn
