Alfred N. Blessing was born c. 1830, d. 1896 (location unknown). He was married to Catharine Maria Unknown, born c. 1824, d. 1847 (location unknown). Alfred and Catharine had at least one daughter, Katherine M. Blessing, born c. 1847, d. April 16, 1885 in Bartholomew Co., Indiana. She is buried in the Enon Moravian Cemetery, Bartholomew Co., Indiana. Katherine married Andrew Conner Flanigan on August 30, 1866, probably in Bartholomew Co., Indiana. Andrew was born in Indiana on September 1, 1841, and died in Arkansas in November of 1932. Andrew and Katherine had the following children: 1870 Alford William (b. Indiana) 1872 Cora Virginia (b. Barth. Co.; d. Conway, AK 1937) 1873 Frank L. (b. Clay Twnp, IN; d. Ft. Laud. FLA 1963) 1875 Edgar (b. Barth. Co.; d. Barth Co., 1895) 1877 John Andrew (b. Barth. Co.; d. Los Ang., CA?) 1878 Abigail (b. Barth. Co.; d. Holwell, ID 1974) After Katherine?s death in 1885, Andrew Flanigan remarried, to Ellen Gertrude Guinn in 1887, and had several more children. After Ellen Gertrude?s death in 1930, Andrew went to live with his daughter, Cora, and her husband, Albert Cohee Leighton, in Conway, Arkansas. He died there in 1932.
