I am looking for someone else, also descended from James & Christain Bankhead of Port Royal, VA, (mid 18th cent), hopefully also from their son, James Bankhead, who died in approx. 1850 and was married to Anne Pyne. My descent goes James Bankhead- Hanora Bankhead - George Guest - Margaret Biddle Guest down. I inherited some family papers & documents which turned out to contain a puzzling circumstance about a woman who married into this part of the Bankhead family in about 1880 and am hoping for advice as to try to track down who she was.
