I'm looking for more info on the ancestry of the a Pierce line in Vermont at the end of the 18th century. Chauncey Pierce(First name possibly Luther) was born Aug 9 1795 probably to Luther Pierce and Lucy Wells (though I'm uncertain about this). He married Mahala Conger and had three children - Chalie (Charlie?), Grace, and Anson. Anson Pierce (born May 6, 1828 in Chittenden Co. VT) married Lovina/Leovina/Lovinia Lyon, who was also born in Chittenden Co. Vermont (daughter of Asa Lyon and Katie Benson/Bensson). Anson and Lovina had at least 4 children - Alice, Frank, Charles, and Grace Irene (b. 1866 in Minnesota). Any more info on this family or the Pierce, Conger, Lyon or Benson Ancestry would be appreciated! - Carissa Thomas
