Confederate Soldiers buried in the Carroll County My name is Gale Red, and I am the Division Commander for the Sons of Confederate Veterans. We are a heritage organization, like the Sons of the Revolutions, dedicated to preserving the history of our Southern ancestors who fought in the War Between the States. We are in the process of trying to find all the graves in the state of Illinois for soldiers who fought for the Confederacy.
