 Mayes, H. H., James M. Mayes, Samuel O. Mayes were all in Leake Co., MS at one time. James was a doctor and in Leake Co., in 1852. H.H. and brother Samuel Ottterson Mayes may have died in Leake Co. Samuel Otterson Mayes married Mary S. Bauchillion(Perhaps in Greene Co., AL) I am told that H.H.(Henry Harvey/Harvey Henry Mayes) was married to 1.Elizabeth ?, 2. Nicy Tucker, 3.Roena Tucker. These Mayes brothers were three of the twelve children of Anthony and Cynthia Otterson Mayes of Union Dist. SC/Greene County, AL.Cynthia'a parents were Major Samuel P. and Ruth Gordon Otterson.
