Piper, a pioneer real estate dealer of Kansas City and treasurer of Kansas City Chapter No 28, Royal Arch Masons thirty-one years, died in 1918 at the age of 84. Born in England, CJ Piper came to America with his parents when a small child. He entered the commission and grocery business in Charlotte, Michigan, and from there moved to Kansas City, Missouri, engaging in the real estate business in which he continued forty years.
