Query Text:

I am searching for my birth parents. I was born at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan on May 24, 1976. I was adopted very soon after birth through Catholic Social Services in Royal Oak, Michigan. Given the year I was born I know very little about my birth family. What I do know is this. My birth mother was 18 at the time of my birth. She was Lutheran and of Polish heritage. My birth mother had two sisters at that time. One was 15 and another was 10 in 1976. My birth father was also 18 at the time and of Scottish Belgian descent. He worked at the same company as my birth mothers mother. My birth father had two brothers in 1976. One was 20 and another 16. I know my birth mother was placed at Marillac Hall due to family friction. My birth parents lived on the same street as kids an knew each other a long time prior to my birth. My name at birth was Steven Michael. I desperately need to find one or both of my birth parents because of a very serious chronic illness I suffer with. Given how rare this disease is all of my Doctors assume my birth parents would be a tremendous help in getting me closer to a normal life again.
