I found my grandfather Loyd Parker living in Jefferson Co., Alabama on the 1930 census; his father (William P.Parker) is also listed as born in South Carolina. I suspect William is probably buried in Jefferson County or Morgan County, Alabama but have not been able to find this info. Loyd's occupation is listed as coal miner; I think he lost his leg during that time. He married Ola Mae Jaquess. Anyone out there researching this family too? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
