Query Text: |
Henry James ATKINSON, a 2nd cousin to my ATKINSON mother was brought thru Ellis Island by a Sarah BYRNE who might have been married to a Michael BYRNE, both from Co. Mayo. They arrived NYC of 07 June 1908. HJAtkinson was said by Sarah Byrne to have been born in NYC 08 Dec 1904 (although I have a birth certif of this child saying he had been born in Glasgow, Scot). Sarah BYRNE was entering on St. Louis Court of Appeals, dated 15 Oct 1900, issued to Michael BYRNE, a bla cksmith, who was said to be living at 3838 St. Louis Ave., St Louis, and shde was to join him there. Michael BYRNE was said to have had a brother, Iveagh Joseph BYRNE (Josdeph Iveagh BYRNE), living at 2319 Carr St., St. Louis,MO In addition in the 1920 U.S. Fed Census shows two BYRNES- a Mary and a Sarah who might be linked with the Sarah BYRNE who entered the U.S. in 1907. I find no other reference to Henry James AYKINSON | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
