Michael Hoffman b. 1832 in Germany immigrated from Karlsdorf, Kries Flatow, Lauenberg Germany in 1883 and settled in South Bend, IN. He was married to Caroline Bremer also from Germany. Their daughter Bertha (b. 1861 ), my Gr. Grandmother, married Ferdinand Julius Reschke in Germany and they immigrated from Berlin in 1893, arriving in South bend, IN, but later moving to Chicago, IL. Their daughter, Martha, married Otto Ebert in Chicago on Novebmer 27, 1907. Otto and Martha's decendents still live in the Chicago area. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
