I am looking for the identity of the parents to my great-great grand father, Martin J. Scott. Information that is known is that Martin J. was born, March 28, 1838 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. He married Mary Ellen Leek/Leak daughter of James Leek and Mary Tinsley, !858?1860? maybe in Lee County, Iowa. Children of Martin and Mary that lived to be more than two are; James Harvey, Charley, (John) William, Emma Iola and Ora Ellis. Mary Ellen Leek/Leak was born, April 17, 1840 in Clay County, Ind.
