Looking for information about Jacob and Madeline Fischer from Switzerland. Came to U.S. in 1866 with their daughter Mary Ann Fischer, age 5, one son, John Fischer and Alice Fischer. Another daughter, Lona Fischer, was born in Indiana, United States, in 1868. Mary Ann Fischer is my great-grandmother. Would like to learn more about her parents and siblings. The parents, Jacob and Madeline Fischer apparently died approximately 1870 and the children were left orphans. My great-grandmother, Mary Ann Fischer, married Christian Fugman from Cleveland, Ohio on January 1, 1880 at the Union Evangelical German Church by Rev. H. C. Fack. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
