I would like to ask for information concerning the first wife of Joseph Elder of Nelson county, Kentucky. Joseph was born on January 27, 1817 in New Hope, Ky. I have as yet not been able to find any information on Minerva Ann O'Bryan. She would be my GGgrandmother. My Greatgrandmother is her daughter Eliza Regina Elder also known as Elizabeth Regina Elder born Oct.21, 1849. The other children of Minerva and Joseph Elder are listed as Mary Elder, George A. Elder, Martha Elder, Joanna Elder, Guy Thomas Elder, John Elder, Joseph Simeon Elder and Charles Borromeo Elder. Are there any descendants of these families that could help me out? Eliza Regina Elder married John William Mattingly of Marion county, Ky. and one of their children was my Grandmother Regina Ivo Mattingly O'Bryan. My Grandmother lived most of her life in Daviess county,Ky. where she married my Grandfather Joseph Martin O'Bryan. My mother is Martine O'Bryan Ward, their daughter.
