Query Text: |
Seeking information on James McGonagle, born September 1816, and his wife, Johanna, born 1828, (Hannah, also known as Julia) O'Connell. They immigrated from Ireland around 1850, were married in Pittsburgh PA about 1850 and had some children in Pennsylvania. They then moved to Peoria Co., IL. Johanna died March 29, 1910 and is buried at the Kickapoo Catholic Cemetery in Peoria Co. Illinois. James, died 1903, is buried at the Catholic Cemetery in Graettinger, Palo Alto Co., Iowa, next to his daughter, Anna Aylward. I have not been able to locate death certificates nor obits on either of them. Old written family information does indicate she is the niece of the well-known Daniel O'Connell. Known children are: Anna, James, Johanna, Patrick, Margaret (Sarah), Mary, Charles and David. Will share more information on these families. Sandie | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
