I'm looking for the birthplace, burial place, and names of wife, children, and siblings, of Mr. Isham Gwin (sometimes misspelled Guin, Guinn, Gwinn, or Givin), who in 1809 owned 249 acres in Crowson's Cove on Walden's Creek in Sevier Co., TN, near today's Pigeon Forge. Nov 1792 in east TN (then NC) who married Jane Walker in Blount County, TN (they lived right across the county lines from each other) on 8 Apr 1812 and moved to Dallas Co., AL, where they raised nine children, all of whom lived to maturity. Jane, who died in the 1860's, is buried there, and John, who died in 1877, is buried in Shelby Co. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
