I am looking information on my gggrandmother, Elizabeth Pitt. I believe that she was born in Edgecombe County NC about 1808. She married George W. C. Shivers in 1835. Perhaps they married there & moved to Mayfield GA. They are both buried there. I want to know who her parents were. Thank you for any help that you can give me. Sue
