In Wayne Co MO 1866 )1867 possibly in Greenville, Ellen Catherine EDWARDS was born, but who her parents were is the mystery. According to the story ,they apparently both died when Ellen ( went by Kate or Katie) was very young. She appears on the 1880 census in Cowan TWSHP. in the house of Lucinda hopkins. desperately trying to find Katies' parent for her now 91 year old daughter.
