 Interested in anyone researching Davis in southeast Tn. in the 1800-1860 timeframe. Thomas Davis m. Elizabeth Cofer ca 1824. Children: Robert, Margaret Ann, Samuel, Joseph, Julia Ann, Sarah Elizabeth, Nancy Caroline, Thomas Jefferson. Half of the family moved to so. Ill. after the Civil War. The rest stayed in the Hamilton Co., Tn. area.
