My Great Granfather was Robert Henry Marsden born in Preston 1881 to Fruit & Veg Traders. His brothers were James, John and as far as I know a sister called Bell they did have a cousin who was a Priest. Robert died in 1939. He married Violet Broughton and had 4 children Violet (my Grandma)Robert, Alfred Bernard Broughton Marsden and Irene. Robert for some unknown reason was to leave the family at 16 and no-one knows anything about his parents or family Bell was the only one to keep in touch.
