I am seeking information on the families of my great, great grandparents JOHN W RYAN and CATHERINE O'DONNELL ROURKE. John W Ryan was born in 1796 in the Townland of Graigue, County Kilkenny, Ireland. I do not now his father's first name, but his mother was ALICE DONELLY. They lived at some point in Thomastown and Tinnapark Townlands. Catherine O'Donnell Rourke (O'Donnell was her mother's maiden name, but I do not know her parent's first names) was born in Graigue Townland in 1806. The RYAN and ROURKE families emmigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada in 1816. I have ALL the RYAN decendency from the time married in Canada in 1826, but the ancestry in County Kilkenny has not yet been found.
