My late father indicate as I was growing up that we were related to Mary Walkingstick. Our family names were Newberry, Spaulding, Spradling. We were from North Texas around the Dennison/Sherman area. We were told that Mary Walkingstick sent a Hippikio to help heal my dad's baby sister. My grandfather, Isham/Isom/Isam went to visit or stay with Mary Walkingstick we were told.
