Seeking parents and siblings of John T. Trump b. 20 June 1810 in PA. According to the 1880 census, both of his parents were born in PA. He married Elizabeth North, 21 June 1839 in Allen County, KY, dau, of Thomas North and Elizabeth Branch of VA. She was b. 12 May 1820 in KY. By 1843 he is in Indiana as his son, Thomas Herschel, my line, is born in IN. In the 1850 census he is working as a miller in Sugar Creek Twp. Parke Co., IN; in the 1860 census he is next door in Brown Twp., Montgomery Co. IN; 1870, Greene Twp., Parke Co again. In the 1880 census, in Union Twp., Parke Co. he is living with his son, Thomas, and his family in Union Twp., Parke County, Indiana. John Trump died 20 April 1881 in Parke Co. John and Elizabeth (Branch) TRUMP had ten children: Ann Elizabeth b. 1840 m. Wm. Bugg; Thomas Herschel b. 1843 m. Martha Agnes Cox; Mary Virginia b. 1845 Putnam Co. IN., m. Armstead Cox; Eliza J. b. 1847, m. John McClain; John William b. 1850 m. Mary E. Brown; Kathern Ellen b. ca 1850 m. Wm. R. Barton; Joseph W. b.1854. m. Mary E. Bruner; Martha C. b. 1856; James Forney b. 1854, m. Laura Whipp; Lidda/Lydia C b. 1861. I am thinking it is possible that John was married previously in PA before Elizabeth because of their age difference but that is pure speculation. Also, the name "Forney" is used twice in naming sons. By John T. and by his son Thomas. Is Forney a surname? Thanks in advance for any help.
