I am looking for the parent's of George W. Yates who married Amelia (Armelia) Grisham (Grissom) in Gallatin Co., Illinois August 3, 1871. He was born about 1842(1850 Henderson County census says) Ky. Amelia was born about 1853 in Ky. Parents are listed as being born in VA. Children listed in the census are John B. Yates 1873 George W. Yates 1875 Geril Parker Yates 1878 Thomas Yates 1879 Lilly Yates 1880 Lilly B. Yates 1885 Mollie (Mary) Yates 1893 Robert W. Yates 1893 Walter C. Yates 1894 Charles Yates 1897 Also was told by my mother there was a Doug Yates, and also Victor. They must have moved away before these two son's were born. I can't find them after 1850 census in Union county, Ky. census. Does anyone have any information on this line that moved to Ky. I will share what I have if you could help.
