Looking for information about my gg-granddad William H. Miller SR ( he went by Henry ) born about 1827 in Madison Co.,Tennessee. He moved to Creal Springs ( at that time it was called Sulfur Springs )Williamson Co., Illinois in the 1830s and married D. Jane Burns in 1847. They had two sons, William H. and James M.. William SR died young, In Aug 1853, while working on the Illinois Central RR, there was an accident that killed him. I would like to know how he was killed. After Wm death the family ( the 3 brothers )went their different ways, one to Arkansas and one to Oregon. Jane married James Taylor in 1858. Wm,s three brothers were John D of Anna, Union Co. Illinois, Isaac Miller of Williamson Co. Illinois ( he took care of the afairs of Wm H. SR after his death and moved to Stoddard Co. Missouri per 1860 census )and Charles Wesley Miller aka Wesley aka C W of Johnson CO. Illinois. William H JR ( Wm H Sr son )later also moved to Stoddard Co. Missouri, per 1900 census after serving with the Co A, 60th Illinois Vol. He married Josephine A Thompson in Woodruff Co. AR in 1872 and had 7 children. James Franklin DOB Feb 11, 1875 Sarah A. DOB 14 April 1878 William A. DOB 25 Aug 1881 Martha J. DOB 14 Sept 1885 John H. DOB 27 Oct 1886 Elmer L. DOB 19 May 1889 Charles W.
